Would you like to sponsor work or fund an experiment?

FindInfinite Labs accepts directed sponsorship from partners, foundations, and individuals who want to underwrite specific lines of inquiry — quantum information, computational biology, AI systems — at four engagement levels. Capital is matched to a named principal investigator and a defined deliverable. Reporting is honest, public when possible, and quarterly.

001 · Engagement Tiers

Four levels of sponsorship. One conversation to start.

TIER · ISEED
Experiment
$100KUSD · Single project

Underwrite a single short-horizon experiment — a six-to-nine-month investigation conducted by one researcher, scoped to produce a publishable result or a falsifiable negative.

  • Named acknowledgement on resulting publications
  • Quarterly progress brief from the lead investigator
  • Direct line to the principal investigator
  • One on-site research review per year
TIER · IIPROGRAM
Program
$1MUSD · Multi-year

Sponsor a full research program — a coordinated set of experiments under a named investigator, with two-to-three-year horizons, instrumented infrastructure, and a defined publication trajectory.

  • Co-branded program name & reporting
  • Dedicated PI and a sub-team of 2–4 researchers
  • Quarterly executive review with full data access
  • First-look on derivative IP & preprints
  • Annual private symposium with the lab
TIER · IIIDOMAIN
Domain
$100MUSD · Multi-program

Establish a named research domain across the lab — multiple concurrent programs, dedicated lab space, named faculty positions, and infrastructure that compounds over a decade.

  • Founding seat on the lab's scientific advisory board
  • 3–5 concurrent programs under your domain banner
  • Named faculty chair at University of Oregon
  • Dedicated facility & instrumentation buildout
  • Strategic IP partnership & licensing rights
  • Direct, continuous engagement with leadership
TIER · IVFOUNDING
Founding
CustomUSD · Above $100M

Multi-decade institutional partnership. Co-architect the next phase of the lab — endowment, named institute, joint governance, and a research agenda set in collaboration with the founding sponsor.

  • Endowment-scale commitment, custom-structured
  • Co-governance & founding-board representation
  • Named institute or center within FindInfinite Labs
  • Bespoke research agenda & reporting cadence
  • Architected directly with Chris Lundy
002 · How It Works

Capital, deliverables, reporting — all on the table.

STEP 01

Initial Conversation

A 30-minute call with Chris Lundy to understand what you want to fund and why. We will tell you immediately if we are the wrong people for the question.

STEP 02

Scoped Proposal

Within two weeks: a written proposal naming the principal investigator, the deliverables, the timeline, the reporting cadence, and the conditions under which we would return the capital.

STEP 03

Quarterly Reporting

Honest progress reports, including null results and revised hypotheses. Published openly when the work permits, kept confidential when the partnership requires.

003 · Direct Line

Talk to Chris directly.

Sponsorship and funding decisions are not delegated. Every conversation begins — and most end — with the founder. If you are considering a meaningful commitment, write directly. Email is read the day it arrives.
